First, I want to apologize to my sister Mary for mentioning her blog and blogging skills several times, but I never gave you the link to view her blog yourself. Of course, I know the risk to this is that you might read her blog and then say to yourself 'why the heck am I wasting that time on that other girls blog when I can read something so much more amusing and interesting'....so please come back.

Secondly, and the reason for my blog is to give you an update on Dad.
He had a follow-up appointment today. A reminder that last week Dad was given a clean bill of health. Today dad was just in to see his doctor to establish what the follow-up schedule might look like. Once again his doctor is "very pleased" with the progress that Dad has made and has instructed him to see him again in three months! That is great news!
Dad still has to follow-up with three of the other doctors participating in his recovery, but again, that is just protocol and he is looking to hear good things from them too.
So, for now, all things are pretty sunny at 141 Brunswick. We will continue to keep you posted on the nuances that make this household such an interesting place to be right now.
